Valentine's Gifts
Well hello February! We are very glad to see you!
We’ve got some exciting plans for this spring, but first up, we’ve created a great Valentine’s Gift Guide for those that are in the mood for a little celebration. After a dull January, it would seem rude not to!
With 20+ years of marriage under our belts and several children (now mostly adults) Valentine’s Day has taken a slightly different turn for us. It’s a chance for us to celebrate all our loved ones, not just our other halves! Everyone feels better for showing and receiving love in whatever form it comes in so let’s all (literally) embrace all those around us (because at last we can) and the new freedoms that 2022 will bring!
I always make the most of the big day, by wearing a ‘LOVE’ slogan t-shirt (Wildstar Clothing do a fabulous one), a heart jumper (check out Gussy&Lou), some heart earrings or necklace (Harry Rocks Jagged Heart range is a very special treat), and I always like to add a little Valentines love to our house too. A seductive smelling candle, a red tablecloth and the list goes on!
Whilst this year, I won’t be buying something for my husband (apart from the obligatory card) I will most certainly be treating my children (and possibly myself!) to a practical little gift they will love.
A gorgeous pair of heart earrings by Atelier18 for my girls and a funky pair of Banana Boxers for my son (he says they are undoubtedly THE best he’s ever worn!). They always enjoy my little gestures, and I hope my traditions will carry on with them and bring the same joy it’s brought me once they have their own families!
